Sheryl and Toni both are married and have families. While Toni’s children are here in Northeast Oklahoma and Utah, since retiring from 25 years of teaching school she spends time fussing over eight grandchildren and spending free time with her husband at their lake cottage. Sheryl’s free time is spent watching her children’s sport teams and following her husband’s basketball team as he coaches in Northeast Oklahoma. “Traveling has always been a part of my life”, says Toni. “I was given the gift of wanderlust from my parents at an early age”, she says. Sheryl and Toni are both of Oklahoma Cherokee heritage and share an interest in that culture.
